Allari Naresh’s new film ‘Kevvu Keka’ was launched this morning (July 25th, 2012) at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. This Jahnavi Productions’ movie will be directed by Devi Prasad and produced by Boppana Chandrasekhar. Smt Neelima is the presenter. Akkineni Nageswara Rao granced the film launch event and sounded the clap board. K S Rama Rao switched on the camera and Devi Prasad directed the first shot on Allari Naresh when he said “Choodu Brotheru…Meka Thokanu Oopaligani Thoka Mekanu Oopakoodadhu. Peekalonchi Keka Ravaligani Kekalonchi Peekaradhu. Asalu Kekantu Pedithe Manadavvali…..Kevvu Kekavvali. Adi Mana Philosophy”.
Later director Devi Prasad told in the press meet, “This is my next film with Allari Naresh after ‘Blade Babji’. Naresh’s movies have turned into laughing clubs for the Telugu audience. This time I prepared the script that creates comedy based on situations in the story rather than dialogues. Everyone is appreciating the title. ‘Kevvu Keka’ will certainly be double the humorous than ‘Blade Babji’.”
Naresh said, “Devi Prasad is my favourite director. All my films with scripts written by Vegnesha Satish have become big hits. Both Devi Prasad and Vegnesha Satish worked on this script for 3 years to make this film a bigger hit than ‘Blade Babji’.We registered the title ‘Kevvu Keka’ during the time of ‘Gabbar Singh’ audio release. This movie will definitely entertain the audience with comedy keka.”
Producer Chandrasekhar said, “We will start the regular shooting from September 15th and continue till November. The 2nd half of the film will be on Bangkok backdrop. Hence we are planning the major schedule in Bangkok which will be in October and November. ‘Kevvu Keka’ will make the audience burst into laughter for 2 ½ hours.”
