Dammu Success Meet

NTR, Trisha and Karthika starrer ‘Dhammu’ which was directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Alexander Vallabha was recently released and running in theaters with success talk. On this occasion a success meet was organised by the film unit. Dasari Narayana Rao, Dil Raju, NTR, Karthika, Boyapati Sreenu, K S Rama Rao and Keeravani participated in the success meet.

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “K S Rama Rao finally got the success with NTR’s ‘Dhammu’. He has a good taste in films and came up with a good film. He was the one who made Chiranjeevi from a supreme hero to mega star. He always believes in stories than stars. I heard the controversy on ‘Dhammu’ opening day. I feel very sad to see some people talk negative about the hit film. I was immensely impressed with the way director moulded the story. This is the aptly made script for NTR. I liked the message saying that murder is not the answer for another murder. NTR’s performance is perfect to the story. While he impressed the audience as young Yama in ‘Yamadonga’, in ‘Dhammu’ he did full justice to the role of historical ruler and became successful.”

NTR said, “On the opening day I was worried when I heard about the divided talk, however I’m very happy today. This success does not belong to me alone but to every technician who worked for this film. My special thanks to Boyapati Sreenu for giving me such a huge success. I’ll be grateful to my fans throughout my life. I request the people not to encourage piracy.”

Boyapati Sreenu said, “It has been once again proved that the Telugu audience will appreciate good films. I thank my artists, technicians and my fans for making me successful with four films.”

K S Rama Rao who presented the film said, “Dhammu collected Rs 24 crores share right from the opening day till today. Universally it collected Rs 31 crores. The stamina of the film will be understood if one sees the collections range. We are very happy to celebrate the success of the film today.”

Dil Raju who distributed ‘Dhammu’ said, “I decided to distribute ‘Dhammu’ even before the movie schedule had started. That is due to belief that I had on this big combination. I’m very happy to see NTR getting a bigger success with ‘Dhammu’ than ‘Brindavanam’ on our banner.”
