Mogudu Audio Release

Gopichand, Taapsee and Shraddha Das starrer ‘Mogudu’ which is being directed by Krishna Vamsi is produced by Nallamalapu Bujji under Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. Music is composed by Babu Shankar. The audio launching event was a grand gala function at Rock Heights for which Dr Rajendra Prasad, D Suresh Babu, NTR, VV Vinayak, Boyapati Sreenu, Kodali Nani, Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Dr K L Narayana, Surender Reddy, C Kalyan, Dr Brahmanandam, M L Kumar Chowdary, Dil Raju, Naresh, Roja, Geetanjali, Anushka, Taapsee, Gopichand, Krishna Vamsi, Babu Shankar, Tagore Madhu, Srivas, Saanam Naga Ashok, Venu Madhav, Seetarama Sastry, Ramajogayya Sastry, Suddala Ashok Teja and others attended.

Dr Rajendra Prasad released the first look of the film while the logo was released by D Suresh Babu. The audio CDs were released by NTR and the first copy of it was received by VV Vinayak.

Later while speaking Dr Rajendra Prasad said, “One has to do various roles in order to remain sustain in this industry. I waited for long to transform from the comedy to serious roles. Krishna Vamsi provided me one such great opportunity in my life. I will always remain grateful to Krishna Vamsi and Bujji throughout my life. I was longing for good scripts for quite some time but I started to see the success off late. I hesitated a little to do this film initially because I was little scared to do with the new team. This is one of the most wonderful characters which I did not believe. Gopichand played the lover boy in this film. Every frame is filled with Krishna Vamsi’s trade mark. He ensured that my chemistry with all the artists I worked is good in the film. I’m very happy to be part of a great film. The song on bachelors is my favourite because I was also a bachelor at one point of time. The song ‘Sreerasthu Subhamasthu’ song from ‘Pelli Pusthakam’ can be heard in many occasions. Similarly there is a song ‘Choostunna Choostunna’ in this film. This movie will be a landmark film in my film career. I thank the director and producer on this occasion.”

VV Vinayak said, “This movie will give an impression that Gopichand has really got married. All Vamsi’s films are different. He dealt with the subject deeply in this film. ‘Choosthunna Choostunna’ song is very good. Music director composed it excellently. I am sure that the movie will become a big hit.”

NTR said, “Rajendra Prasad said that he did a great role in this film. I’m moved by his words as he has already reached that height. My role in ‘Rakhi’ is the best which I can mentioned it in my film. I normally react very wildly when I listen to stories but when Vamsi narrated the story to me I cried. I’m very happy to see my friend Gopichand working with one such director. Like ‘Rakhi’ to me, ‘Mogudu’ will be for Gopi. I welcome Babu Sekhar to Telugu cinema. My first commercial hit came from Bujji’s banner only. When Bujji said that he would be doing this film I felt that he will surely become a big producer after that. Krishna Vamsi’s point in this film has made me think again and again whether I’m a being a man or husband. Anyway I will find out what I am after the movie is released.”

Dr Brahmanandam said, “I did not act in this film but due to my association with the film producer I came to this function. I wanted to watch this film only for the sake of Krishna Vamsi. There is no connection between two films. He always showcases on the screen what he wanted to say. He is a sensible director. Gopichand is a down-to-earth person even though he is a hero. Taapsee always appears with a smiling face. She is building her career gradually. Rajendra Prasad is a wonderful actor. Krishna Vamsi would have extracted maximum from him. I’m very happy that I’m going to see a good film.”

Naresh said, “Krishna Vamsi is always hungry to take good films. I got the opportunity to work with him after a very long time. I’ll always remain grateful to him in my life. Gopichand will be seen in different shades. Everyone used to clap for Taapsee’s performance on the sets. I offer my best wishes to the entire unit members.”

Dil Raju said, “The songs in this film are on par with ‘Ninne Pelladutha’ and ‘Murari’ songs. I’m sure that this film will become a big hit. Bujji and I entered film industry at the same time. He has a great passion for films. He always thinks about films. Cinema is his life. Gopichand’s wish to do a family subject will be fulfilled through this film. Krishna Vamsi would have extracted maximum from Taapsee. I wish a grand success to this film.”

Anushka said, “ I know Bujji garu from the time of ‘Lakshyam’ and I know Gopi right from the beginning of my career. Babu Shankar is well known to me from long ago. I did one song in this film. Taapsee is very beautiful in this film. I wish that this film will bring success to all the unit members.”

Seetarama Sastry said, “There are few elements which I liked in this film. There are hardly any characters left that Naresh and Rajendra Prasad did not do. Taapsee appeared like a small girl to me. Many think I write good songs to Krishna Vamsi but that is not the case. I write equally good songs for others too. Marriage is like a foundation for a family. No where in the world can be seen one such tradition. He made me write one song related to that situation. The wife will ask the husband directly what she needs. This song also was written by me. The two songs that I wrote were like an exam to me. Babu Shankar is a good ad filmmaker. He composed tunes for both the songs and impressed Krishna Vamsi which I consider it as a great achievement by him.”

Ramajogayya Sastry said, “I worked for Seetarama Sastry garu only through Krishna Vamsi. However I got opportunity to write a song in his film only now. I’m now confident that I’ll write many more songs in the near future. I wish a grand success to this film which is coming exactly at the time of many hit films.”

Roja said, “I’m very happy to come to this audio function. All artists who worked with me worked under Krishna Vamsi’s direction except me. However my wish has been fulfilled through this film. It is very difficult to work in his films and at the same time it is also enjoyable. He takes care of every little thing. Gopichand became a son-in-law twice for me. If I had a daughter I would definitely made him my real son-in-law. I’m very happy to have worked with him. Taapsee is a naughty girl and she performed excellently even though she is not a Telugu speaking girl. Naresh essayed the role of my husband and reminded me of my husband Selvamani. I’m very happy to work with Dr Rajendra Prasad in this film. Geetanjali’s character will twist the story. This is a complete family entertainer. The songs are very soothing and melodious. I wish the movie to become a big hit.”

Taapsee said,
“This film will become a good film for me. I too became a Telugu girl. I dubbed my own voice in this film. I learnt a lot from my senior co-artists. This film will certainly change Gopichand’s image as well as mine. I thank Ramya Krishna garu on this occasion because it was she who recommended my name for this film. I also thank my director and producer for giving me such an important role. I wish a great future for the music director.”

Gopichand said, “I waited for 10 long years to do this film. After my first film became flop I approached Krishna Vamsi but he wanted to do an action oriented film at that time. However I suggested him that we should be doing a different film. Later I managed to make him agree through Bujji. I thought that I should be a little careful while performing with Rajendra Prasad. But he gave me many suggestions. It is very nice to act with Roja who did my mother-in-law. Taapsee also did very well in this film. I performed along with lions in this film. Although I was scared it was a great experience. Music director rendered fantastic tunes to this film. I’m sure that the audience will watch and enjoy this film.”

Krishna Vamsi said, “I’m very sorry for torturing everyone. I chose the subject based on the storyline that all men are not changing into husbands. I got in touch with this music director through a common friend. Seetarama Sastry wrote this song after 3 months. This song will depict what a wife expects from her husband. He completed the song in 4 days and sent it to me and his daughter sang this song. Suddala wrote a song about husband which is also equally good. Similarly Ramajogayya also wrote a very good song. I’m introducing a new lyricist through this film. Taapsee’s performance is extremely good. I’ve seen Nana Patekar in my film career after which it is Taapsee. Similarly Rajendra Prasad is like SVR. After a very long time, I got the complete job satisfaction for working with a remarkable actor like Rajendra Prasad.”
