Ala Modalaindi 100 Days Function

Nani-Nitya Menon starrer ‘Ala Modalaindi’ which is directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by KL Dhamodhar Prasad under Sri Ranjith Movies banner has successfully completed 100 days. On this occasion 100 Days function was held at Prasad Labs on April 30th evening. K Raghavendra Rao, who was the chief guest of the function launched Ranjith Movies website.

This grand event was graced by Suman, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Dr K L Narayana, Murali Mohan, K L Kumar Chowdary, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Nandini Reddy, Dhamodhar Prasad, Nani, Kalyani Malik, Prasanna Kumar, Sagar, Varun Sandesh, Ramesh Prasad, SS Gopal Reddy, Harish Prasad, Kodanda Ramireddy, K Raghava and others participated.

Addressing the gathering Kaikala Satyanarayana said, “It is a fact that the story is the hero of this film. I consider producer Dhamu also as hero for choosing one such story. He is my close friend Ranjith Kumar’s son who has fulfilled his father’s dream. Hence I’m very happy to see his success. I know Nandini Reddy right from the time of ‘Murari’ film making. She used to do her work very sincerely, so I knew that she would achieve her goal one day. All artists have done justice to their roles.”

Suman said, “I came to this function unexpectedly. Two people are involved in my entering into Telugu film industry. They are Raghavendra Rao garu and Baradwaja garu. I learnt self-discipline from them. I never knew the Telugu language at that time and used fear to tell any dialogue. My first film in Telugu was ‘Tarangini’. I know producer Dhamu for quite long time and used to always think why he did not become a hero. But finally he made this movie and tasted success with his first attempt. Nandini Reddy’s direction is impressive.”

Murali Mohan said, “This is the real festival for Telugu film industry. When a small film become big hit, then everyone in the industry are happy. This movie got the success talk on the opening day itself and went on to complete 100 days successfully. When I entered the film industry, it was Ranjith Kumar garu who encouraged me in this field. He played vital role in establishment of Film Nagar Housing Society. I congratulate the entire team on this occasion.”

Music director Kalyani Malik said, “I get only one film per year and last year also I did in the same combination. I’m very happy to see the success of this film. I congratulate the whole team and I wish good luck and prosperity to the producer.”

Nani while speaking, “The audience will not go to theaters depending on the film’s budget. They just watch any film that has good content. I wish to do more number of films like ‘Ala Modalaindi’. Vivek has put in a lot of efforts to take this movie to the audience. The success of this film goes to the entire team for putting in their efforts.”

Nandini Reddy concluded saying, “The journey of this film is still speculating in my mind. It was Kalyani Malik who forced me to meet Dhamu garu. Dhamu garu made this film after a very long gap in the industry. During the making of this film, two people have supported me like two pillars. They are Nani and Kalyan. Nani was so confident after listening to the story that he said that the film will run for 150 days. I thank the audience for watching and enjoying the film.”

Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Dr KL Narayana, Prasanna Kumar, Varun Sandesh, M L Kumar Chowdary, Ramesh Prasad and others also spoke and conveyed their best wishes to the team of ‘Ala Modalaindi’.
