Buddaa Muhurat

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan as protagonist, Puri Jagannath’s debut film in Hindi ‘Buddaa’ (Hoga Tere Baap) was launched at Khoja Bungalow at Versova in Mumbai. Viacom 18 and AB Corporation banner are jointly producing the film. Puri Jagannath did the formal pooja and Sonu Sood tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot. The launching event was attended by Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonal Chauhan, etc.

Later addressing the media Puri Jagannath said, “I’m a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan right from my childhood days. I’m very happy to direct a sensational film like ‘Buddaa’ with my favourite hero.”

Amitabh Bachchan will participate in the shooting from March 11th onwards. The entire film will be shot on a single schedule and will be released in 2011 only.

Amitabh Bachchan mentioned in his blog: “The ‘Buddaa’ story narrated by Puri Jagannath is very exciting. Dialogues are very thrilling. I’m very eager to take part in the shooting. This movie would certainly become a big commercial hit in Puri Jagannath’s combination.”
