Nagaram Nidrapothunna Vela Muhurat
Gurudev Creations’ ‘Nagaram Nidra Pothunna Vela’ featuring Charmi in central role was launched today at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Nandi Srihari is the director and Premraj is the director. Minister Sabita Indra Reddy tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot, Dr D Ramanaidu switched on the camera and Nandi Ellayya directed the muhurat shot.
Later speaking to the media Parachuri Gopalakrishna said, “Charmi will play the role of a journalist. She already proved her mettle through films like ‘Anaganaga Oka Roju’ and ‘Mantra’. Deenraj came up with an outstanding story. This film is also a female centric film. Charmi’s character in the film will try to eradicate the atrocities in the society.”
Charmi says, “I liked the title ‘Nagaram Nidra Pothunna Vela’ and everyone likes it too. The film tells what a girl does when the city is sleeping in the night. I’m taking enough care in my costumes and make-up in order to give a new look in this film. Accordingly I also did lot of home work to change my body language to suit the character in the film. I’ve heard of 3 songs that were recorded so far and I liked them. I thank my director and producer for giving me this opportunity.”
Director Premraj said, “I worked as a writer for few films initially. Dheenraj came up with a very good story at the time I was planning to turn director. This is a female oriented film and belongs to a thriller political genre. In the end we are giving a good message.”
“All songs in this film has very good lyrics and the songs are situation bound”, said the music director Yaso Krishna.
