Jai Bolo Telangana Muhurat

To be presented by N Madhavi under Mahalakshmi Arts Productions banner, N Shankar is producing and directing the film titled ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’. The film launch took place at a private bungalow in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The grand launching event was attended by biggies like K Raghavendra Rao, C Kalyan, Murali Mohan, Aswini Dutt, B Gopal, A Kodandarami Reddy, Parachuri Gopalakrishna, Andhra Jyothy Managing Director Radhakrishna, MLA K T Rama Rao, Ex-Central Minister Dattateya, TRS Kavita, TRS Prakash Rao, Gaddar, Suddala Ashok Teja, Goreti Venkanna, Chukka Ramayya, Andhra Jyothy Editor Srinivas, Nandini Sidda Reddy, Jaya Shankar, Mallepally Lakshmayya, Kotagiri Vidhya Sagar Rao, Rasamayi Balakrishna and many more like poets, artists, singers, Osmania students, JAC students, etc.
The event started off with the presentation of the film’s script to N Shankar by JAC students, followed by the logo launch by Andhra Jyothy MD Radhakrishna and MLA KT Rama Rao. For the muhurat shot K Raghavendra Rao tapped the clap board while Mallepalli Lakshmayya switched on the camera. The shot was directed by Jaya Shankar.
Later in the press meet producer cum director N Shankar while speaking, “The shooting will continue till tomorrow and the regular shooting will begin from September 3rd onwards. We are planning to complete the film by November and release it in 1st week of December.”
Murali Mohan said, “Many have sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and many movies have been made based on their life histories. Like wise many students and common people died in Telangana movement. N Shankar is making a film based on their movement. He is a very talented director who filmed many successful films in the past. So I’m predicting this film also to be on par with those films.”
Parachuri Gopalakrishna said, “I did B.Sc in City College and M.A M.Phil in Osmania University. Therefore I’m aware of Telangana movements. Telangana movement is for getting the freedom, independence and self rule. I hope the talented director like Shankar will design this film in such a manner that people from all regions will watch it.”
Kodanda Ramireddy in his speech said that Shankar worked as an assistant director to him. He added that Shankar later directed many successful films and that this film on Telangana movement should be a grand success.
