Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest sensation ‘Simha’ released on April 30th and shaking the box office collections all over AP. On this occasion a success meet was organized by Cinemax on May 6th evening. Prominent members in the success meet were Balakrishna, Parachuri Kireeti, Boyapati Sreenu, Chakri, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Venu Madhav, LB Sriram, Ram-Lakshman, etc.
Addressing the media Balakrishna said, “I’m very happy for the success of ‘Simha’. On this occasion I would like to thank by fans and movie lovers for making it a huge hit. The film is said to be breaking the box office records. On the day of music success meet I have already said that “SImha’ is going to become a huge hit and my words became true. Both the roles I did in this film are absolutely new in my film career. The burning problem of the society that has been shown in ‘Simha’ is well received by the audience.”
“When I was taken to Balakrishna by Parachuri Prasad to narrate my story, I only told him that this is a complete action film with fewer dialogues. Since Balayya liked the story he told me to go ahead. He is completely the director’s actor and would do exactly what I needed on the sets. He is an awesome personality”, opined Boyapati Sreenu who is currently on cloud nine with the success of his third film ‘Simha’.
Producer Parachuri Prasad said, “I’m very happy to say that Balakrishna gave us a block buster through ‘Simha’ and made our banner proud off. I had little fear before the release of the film but later had a great relief after observing the positive mouth talk. The film is especially pulling the women crowd to theaters. Right from the beginning the police helped us by taking strict action against piracy, thereby the collections also increased tremendously. Hence I decided to donate Rs 5 lakhs to Police Welfare Fund as a token of appreciation. I thank my friend Chakri for providing good musical scores for the film. Apart from India, there is an amazing response for ‘Simha’ in countries like USA and Australia.”
Starring Yuvaratna Balakrishna as hero, Nayantara, Sneha Ullal and Namitha share the screen with him as heroines.
