Adhurs Success Meet

The cast and crew of the now super successful ‘Adurs’ came together at producer Vamsi Vallabhaneni’s office to celebrate the success of the film. NTR, VV Vinayak, Brahmanandam, Chota K Naidu, Kona Venkat, Nallamalupu Bujji, MS Narayana and Rama Jogaiah Sastri partied on the occasion.

“Adurs is the biggest hit of my career” director V.V.Vinayak said “I would like to thanks all the movie lovers for making this film a success.” The director was all praises for his crew members “Kona Venkat created the Chari character which people are loving. Even NTR’s mother called me and told that she liked that character a lot. B.A Raju is the reason behind the title ‘Adhurs’”.

“V.V.Vinayak is the hero behind the scenes for this film” veteran actor and comedian Brahmanandam said “he even gifted me a wrist watch after we completed the film’s shooting” Speaking about Jr NTR the veteran said “NTR is a born actor. It will be difficult for anybody to match up to his talent. It is a challenge for any mainstream commercial hero to portray the role of a Brahmin. Even though he met with an accident he danced amazingly in the last song”.

“’Adhurs’ is my film after my rebirth” actor Jr NTR said referring to the accident that left him bed ridden for quite a while “I thought that I will not be able to walk again. I wanted to prove to myself with ‘Adhurs’ and I am more than happy that the film is the biggest hit of my career so far. Vinayak is like a brother and mother to me. As for Brahmanandam’s compliment that I dominated him in the film, I take that as a blessing. And I don’t think anybody can dominate him for he is the best.”

“I initially did not like the title of the film” producer Vamsi said “We decided to go with it on the suggestion of some journalists and I am happy that we did”

“Nobody can do the role of Chari except NTR” Kona Venkat said.

The success of the film is even more special for the film’s cast and crew after the initial problems they had to face during the film’s release due to protests. The film was released for the festival amidst tight security at most of the theaters where it was screened.
