Young India Muhurat

Dr Dasari Narayana Rao’s 149th film ‘Young India’ was launched on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The film going to be presented by Smt Dasari Padma has Ramakrishna Prasad as producer and will be made under Siri Media (Pvt) Ltd.

Dr Mohan Babu graced the launching ceremony and inaugurated the muhurat shot by sounding the clap board, and director Raviraja Pinisetty switched on the camera.

Speaking to the media Dasari Narayana Rao said, “It is very unfortunate that Indians talent is being used for the growth of countries like UK and USA. According to me the young generation should not just think of their future but also about the country’s future. Therefore “Young India” will give a message to those young talents, who are planning to migrate themselves to other countries leaving our country behind.”

Informing about the cast and crew he said, “We have received atleast 22 thousand applications so far, out of which we have selected 81 persons and gave two months training in acting. There are six male leads and six female leads. This film will answer those film-makers who complain about lack of Telugu speaking heroines.”

Producer Ramakrishna Prasad said, “The shooting will be held at Hyderabad, Vizag and Mumbai for a period of two months at a stretch except during the time of Dasari’s visit to Parliament. The film has altogether six songs.”
