Naga Chaitanya-Manjula Film Muhurat

Naga Chaitanya’s 2nd film under Gowtham Menon’s direction and produced by Manjula under Indira Production Pvt Ltd. Banner was launched today grandly at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The launching ceremony was attended by who is who of Tollywood. The muhurat shot was inaugurated by top personalities like Krishna who tapped the clap board, Akkineni Nageswara Rao switched on the camera and Dr D Rama Naidu directed the first shot.

Addressing the gathering Krishna said, “I became an actor with the blessings of Nageswara Rao garu. I’ve made two films ‘Hema Hemeelu’ and ‘Rajakeeya Chadarangam’ with Nageswara Rao garu under our banners Vijayakrishna and Padmalaya. But although I’ve not made any films with Nagarjuna I’ve shared the screen with him. But today I am very happy to note that my daughter is producing the film of Nagarjuna’s son. I wish that this film as well as Naga Chaitanya’s debut film should become a grand success.”

Manjula while speaking, “So far I’ve made films only with Mahesh Babu under our banner, but this is the first time I am making a film with a different hero. I heartfully thank Nagarjuna garu for keeping confidence in me and I take it as my responsibility to make a remarkable film with Naga Chaitanya and present it to him. The reason for making this film with Naga Chaitanya is the story aptly suits him because he is a dashing young boy. Nagarjuna garu was very happy with the subject and immediately okayed the project.”

Nagarjuna said, “Chaitanya’s desire of acting under Gowtham Menon’s direction even before he became an actor is going to get fulfilled with this film. He is also lucky enough to get a producer like Manjula who is a passionate film maker. This is a ‘Geetanjali’ kind of movie with a wonderful storyline. I am confident that this movie would be a landmark in Chaitanya’s film career. And another impressive aspect of this project is AR Rahman’s music. It is a class film with all youthful elements of this generation.”

“It is a big responsibility for me to do this project as Naga Chaitanya is a heir of two prominent families. It is a feel good film and a musical romantic entertainer. We are in search of a new heroine for this amazing subject”, informed Gowtham Menon.
