Current Audio Release

Sushanth-Sneha Ullal starring ‘Current’ had its grand audio launch in the presence of Akkineni Nagarjuna. ‘Current’ is directed by Surya Pratap and jointly produced by Chintalapudi Srinivas Rao and Smt Nagasuseela under Sri Nag Corporation banner. Devisri Prasad composed the musical scores and the album consists of 5 songs. Bhaskarabatla Ravikumar and Ramajogayya Sastry penned the lyrics.

The audio release took place in a unique manner like the first four songs were released by four different directors at their respective residences while the 5th one was released by Nag at Annapurna Studios.

Addressing the gathering Nag commented, “With the dust after the elections storm settling down I feel totally relieved. Although I’m unaware of the story of ‘Current’ I’m sure of the film’s success by the way entire team is showing its confidence. My best wishes to all of them. This year the audience gets to see three heroes from our family. But the story is yet to be finalized for my film”.

Producer Chintapudi Srinivas Rao said that Devisri Prasad provided the best music. He specially thanked all the directors who released the songs. He said that they are making efforts to release ‘Current’ on June 19th. Further speaking he said, “I always like to watch Nagarjuna’s films because they are all trendy. I’m happy to be the producer under his banner.”

“I’m blessed by all those directors who released the songs of this film. I thank my producer who gave complete freedom to Devisri Prasad and me in music composition”, said the director Suryapratap.

Devisri Prasad said that he is very happy to note that four of the songs were released by top directors like Puri Jagannadh, Sreenu Vytla, Sekhar Kammula and Sukumar. “Sushanth’s dance performance is extremely good. Bhaskara Bhatla provided beautiful lyrics for two songs. I hope that the audio as well as the film will be successful ones” said Devisri.

Sushanth while speaking, “I’m very happy to see my uncle in this audio function. I’m also fortunate to work with good team. The movie was shaped well by the director. I thank one and all for putting their efforts for this film”.

Sneha Ullal, the heroine of the film conveyed her thanks to director and producers who gave her the opportunity to work under a reputed banner.

Both the lyrists Bhaskarabatla and Ramajogayya said that they have written songs for all the heroes of Akkineni family starting from Nagarjuna and hoped that this film too will get good success,
