To announce about the film’s details, a press-meet was arranged by the unit members at the beautiful campus of Vignan Junior College in Kodapur, Hyderabad. Producer Dil Raju, director Srikanth, music director Mickey J Meyer, cinematographer Chota K Naidu, hero Varun Sandesh and heroine Swetha Prasad were among the prominent that were present along with other crew members and some students of the college who appeared in the film.
While speaking in the press-meet Dil Raju expressed his happiness and complete satisfaction with the output of the film. While thanking the parents of the students and the college management Dil Raju said, “My personal thanks to the college management for granting the permission to shoot the film in their campus. I also thank all those parents who had given their tremendous support by acting in the film. The unit is doing an outstanding job even without my presence. I’m confident enough that this beautiful film which has most of the teenage artists would reach the audience like my earlier films ‘Arya’ and ‘Bommarillu’. Hero Varun Sandesh had already proved himself in ‘Happy Days’ and heroine Swetha Prasad, once the busy child artist of Bollywood, is debuting in this film as heroine. I’m happy that finally I’m able to make a film with director Srikanth who brought this script to me four years ago. Lastly, I would like to say that the title of the film ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’, was given by Vasu Verma (debut director of Naga Chaitanya’s debut film). My personal thanks to him.”
The hero of the film Varun Sandesh looked very happy for having done this film which is almost on the lines of ‘Happy Days’. He thanked Dil Raju for having chosen him in the lead role.
The heroine of the film Swetha Prasad also thanked Dil Raju for introducing her to the Telugu audience.
Music director Mickey J Meyer looks very satisfied with his job in ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’. He said, “I’m very lucky to get the opportunity to compose the tunes for yet another youthful entertainer. The tunes of all the six songs in this film are also heart-touching like in Happy Days”. In addition to that, he also thanked Dil Raju for giving him the opportunity to be the part of this youthful film.
Director Srikanth expressed his happiness and also very much excited to see the result from the audience.
