Music party of Nagarjuna and Nani’s big budget multi-starrer DevaDas took place in a grand level in Hyderabad on September 20. The event was graced by stars involved in the film. Directed by Sriram Aditya, the film is gearing up for September 27th release. Akanksha Singh and Rashmika Mandanna are the leading ladies. Mani Sharma has given music. Mega movie maker Ashwini Dutt is producing the film under Bollywood booming production house Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Vyjayanthi Movies banners. Nani plays the role of a doctor and Nagarjuna will be seen as a don in Devadas.
Kalabandhu T Subbiramireddy said, “For the past 40 years, September 20th is a festive day for me. I used to make sure that I meet Nageswara Rao garu on this particular day. He is a good friend, good human being and a well-wisher. He is not with us now, but he will be there in my heart forever. Nageswara Rao garu is one who taught us how to dance for the romantic numbers. Now, his son Nagarjuna is continuing his legacy. Ashwini Dutt is a respectable producer. He has been producing films for the past 45 years. He made over 52 films. He has the credit of making films with almost all star heroes. He recently delivered a massive hit ‘Mahanati’. He is back to form and now there is no looking back. I wish this ‘DevaDas’ will stand out forever in the hearts of audience like yesteryears ‘Devasasu’. Nagarjuna is the one who initiated multi-starrers in Telugu film industry. Producer Ashwini Dutt said, “Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu is my favourite actor. I am happy that, we are conducting this program remembering him on his birth anniversary. Nagarjuna is one of my favourite heroes. This is his fifth film on our banner. Nani is my good friend. ‘DevaDas’ is his second film on our banner. Young directors like Nag Ashwin, Sriram, Vamsi Paidipally and Krish and few others have set the new trend in the film industry. I wish we will get many more good films in the coming future.”

Director Sriram Aditya thanked producer Ashwini Dutt for this opportunity and said, “I am happy that this event is being held on the occasion of ANR garu’s birth anniversary. Working under Vyjayanthi movies is a pride. When I entered into the office of Vyjayanthi Movies, I have seen the poster of ‘Indra’. I was quite excited. Five years back, when I met Nagarjuna garu, I took a picture with him and immediately called my mother and said that he looks handsome in real life too. He generated positive aura as he enters the sets and you will find the same in the film. Nani is one my favourite actors. I love him. He is directors’ treat.”
Akkineni Akhil, giving jaw-dropping expression looking at the fitness level of his father Nagarjuna, said, “Nani is a sweet person who mingles with anyone at ease.”
Nani said, “Initially, I had the curiosity to know Nagarjuna garu’s fitness secret. After working with him, I got to know that his fitness secret lies neither in his food habits or his routine exercises, but it’s because of his motto to stay happy all the time. I am thankful to Nagarjuna for sharing the screen space with me. Nagarjuna garu, Rashmika, Aakanksha and I enjoyed a lot on the sets. Working with Vyjayanthi movies is an unforgettable experience. Akkineni Nagarjuna said, “My father Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu’s ‘Devadasu’ was released in 1953. I am happy to share the same title and this is the proof that he live on. The film has all positive vibes. The main reason for accepting this film is the script and the next is Vyjayanthi Movies and third is Nani. I was thrilled when I listened to the point that Nani is my opposite role. No need to specially explain about Ashwini Dutt garu. His films explains about him and his love and passion for films. I always wanted to work with Nani for a multi-starrer and it came true through this film. Nani is a superb actor. The film stars two beautiful heroines. Rashmika is very entertaining person and she has given beautiful performance. Aakanksha looks beautiful. I have worked with a beautiful actress after long time.
