Samantha starrer ‘U Turn’ has hit the screens on September and opened to a positive response from audience and critics as well. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged a success party on September 18 in Hyderabad. Member of Parliament Kalvakuntla Kavitha and director Nandini graced the event as chief guests. Samantha’s performance in ‘U Turn’ amazed everyone. Everyone is full of praise for the actress and Kalvakuntla Kavitha is no exception.
Written and directed by Pawan Kumar, ‘U Turn’ is a mystery thriller. ‘U Turn’ also stars Rahul Ravindran in supporting role while actress Bhumika Chawla is doing a special appearance. Srinivasaa Chitturi and Rambabu Bandaru have produced ‘U Turn’ under Srinivasaa Silver Screen and VY Combines banners.
While praising Samantha Akkineni, Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha said, “Frankly, I have not watched the film ‘U Turn’ yet, but my two kids watched it and they like it. They have given me positive reviews. They said that it’s a wonderful film. It’s no a simple thing to convey a social message in a curious way. ‘U Turn’ has succeeded in passing a message in a thrilling way.”
She further added, “Samantha looked different in ‘U Turn’. A complete contrast when compared to her role in Rangasthalam. She is an exemplar of a modern woman. Samantha is one actress who has started a trend of doing character driven roles. It has been once again proved that everyone will encourage different stories. These kind of films need to be encouraged.”
