The word ‘Rain Check’ means refusing an offer but with the hope that it can be accepted later. Sharath Maraar's North Star Entertainment presents Stone Media Films production 'Premaku Raincheck', which was expected to release on August 23, will now release on September 7. Directed by entrepreneur turned filmmaker Akella Peri Srinivas, the film stars newcomers Abhilash Vadada, Priya Vadlamani and Mounika Tamanam in the lead roles. It’s a trendy love story. The story of the film is about a guy who postpones his love for his career. How his principle complicates his love life - makes the crux of the story.
Speaking at the pre-release event, hero Abhilash said, “This is my first film. It’s a dream project for our team. 'Premaku Raincheck' trailer which was released recently has given a glimpse of what to expect from the movie. We have put in lot of efforts to churn out best output. I am sure this corporate love story will never disappoint anyone. I hope everyone will appreciate our attempt.”
Heroines Priya Vadlamani and Mounika Tamanam said, “Director Akella Peri Srinivas has carved out the film wonderfully with good clarity. Each and every characterisation in the film will be beautiful.”

Hollywood producer Andy Cohen infomed through video conference that he is going to produce the film ‘Premaku Raincheck’ in international languages. Andy Cohen said, “It’s a universal subject. We have decided to present this subject to worldwide audience. ‘Premaku Raincheck’ will be fresh and entertains audience with interesting twists and turns. Talented artists have worked for this film. The production values are on par with Hollywood movies. Despite being new to direction, Akella Peri Srinivas has carved out the film wonderfully and I am sure he will join top directors list. I would like to work with him for his future projects as well.”
The film features newcomers Abhilash Vadada, Priya Vadlamani and Mounika Tamanam in the lead roles, the film's music is by Deepak Kiran and Sarath Guruvugari is the Director of Photography. Apart from the new faces, there are familiar faces - Suman, Raghu Karumanchi, Kireeti Damaraju in the fim.
