Audio launch event of ‘Pelli Roju’ took place on September 25 at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Former AP Chief Minister and former Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah graced the event as chief guest and launched the audio CDs.
Speaking on the occasion, Konijeti Rosaiah said, “These days, Telugu film titles are more awkward to hear and making us to forget Telugu nativity. I am very much impressed by the title ‘Pelli Roju’. Earlier, I used to watch Telugu movies a lot. Those movies which were blended with family relations and values, have created great impact on society. I wish ‘Pelli Roju’ will become big success and I will participate in the success meet.”
Kalabharati Smt. Jamuna graced the event as special guest and launched the film’s logo. She said, “I was the heroine in ‘Pelli Roju’ nearly 50 years back. I sang a song ‘Pelli Varamandi…Aada Pellivaramandi…’ song in that film. I am happy that Suresh and Praveen have made a film with the same title.”
Director Nelson Venkatesan said, “This is my first film in Tamil. It was well received by Tamil audience. We are releasing the film in Telugu my making few changes. The film is the perfect replica to the present youth’s mind-set. It’s a sensitive story which revolves around three unmarried women. I am extremely confident that the film will impress Telugu audience as well.”
On this occasion, music director Justin Prabhakaran said, “This is my third film as a music director. All songs in the film are situational. I am very happy that songs are receiving positive response.”
Heroine Miya George said, “I played a wonderful role in ‘Pelli Roju’. I hope I will get more opportunities in Telugu after the release of ‘Pelli Roju’.”
“The film ‘Pelli Roju’ has become big sensational hit in Tamil Nadu. I am confident that it will become big hit in Telugu as well,” said another heroine Rithvika.
Producers Suresh Balla and Mrudula Mangisetty, Praveen Mangisetty, writer Venkat Malluri, Co-producer Vinay and Producers Union Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar too spoke at the event and wished for the success of the film.
‘Pelli Roju’ is the film being made under Cineyoga Motion Pictures banner under Nelson Venkatesan’s direction. The film that features Dinesh, Miya George, Rithvika and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead roles, is being produced by Suresh Balla and Mrudula Mangisetty.
