Ashish Raj and Simran as hero and heroines respectively, a new film titled ‘Ego’ has been taken off on Sunday i.e. on July 2 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. RV Subramanyam is the director. KR Vijay Karan, KR Koushal Karan and KR Anil Karan are producing the film on VKA Films banner. While Sai Karthik sounded the clap board, Srinivas Goud switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. Tummalapalli Rama Satynarayana has directed the first scene.
On this occasion, Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana said, “I know director Subramanyam since long time. He has narrated be the script. It is such a subject which should be done with big heroes, but I suggested him to make with new actors.”
Producers KR Vijay Karan, KR Koushal Karan and KR Anil Karan said, “After ‘Aakatayi’, ‘Ego’ is our next venture from our banner. ‘Aakatayi’ has brought fame to us as producers. We were appreciated for that film. Regular shooting of ‘Ego’ will commence from tomorrow. We are planning to complete the entire shooting in three schedules and bring the film to audience for this Dasara.”
“This is my second film which is being made under my direction after ‘Prema Geema Jantha Nai’. ‘Eg’ is a love story which runs between two egoists. The film runs in the backdrop of city and village. We have conducted workshop for one month before going to the sets. Hero Ashish and heroine Simran did very hard work. Regular shooting will begin from tomorrow at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Two schedules will take place at Ramoji Film City. We are planning to shoot the third schedule in Andhra area. Poducer have went through 85 scripts and rejected them. They were very much impressed by my script and given instant nod. I am sure the film will impress everyone,” said the film’s director RV Subramanyam.
“Post the success of ‘Aakatayi’, I went through several scripts. But, I was very much impressed by the script narrated by RV Subramanyam garu. My look in ‘Ego’ will be very different and fresh. I am sure my look in the film will impress mass,” said hero Ashish.
Heroine Simran thanked the director and producers for hving given her the opportunity to act in ‘Ego’.
Veera Shankra too spoke at the event and wished for the success of the film.
