The other day, Akkineni Nagarjuna's KING 100 locked its release date. It is gracing the big screens on December 24. For the Akkineni family, this one is a prestigious venture, postponing which is ruled out at this point.
Nag has locked the date knowing well that Nandamuri Balakrishna's 111th movie will also be coming out for Christmas. Rumouredly titled Dada, this Gopichand Malineni directorial will clash head-on with KING 100.
At the last minute, one of the films might arrive a day earlier or later. A clash, however, is going to happen come what may. Both KING 100 and Dada are uninterested in a Sankranthi 2027 release. That's because, by now, the season is overcrowded.
KING 100 and Dada are tailored to appeal to the mass audience. The former seemingly features Nag in a grey-shaded role. As for Dada, Balakrishna will be in his larger-than-life zone, for the nth time.
